Halal Trip: Private Muslim Tour of Spain, Morocco, and Portugal | 10-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Casablanca and Transfer to Marrakech

Upon arrival at Casablanca’s CMN airport, our guide will escort the group to visit the iconic Hasan II Mosque and the beautiful Corniche. We will then transfer to Marrakech to experience the magic of Jemaa el Fna Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a delicious halal dinner and accommodation in Marrakech.

Day 2 – Exploring Marrakech

After breakfast, we will embark on a city tour of Marrakech. Highlights include the stunning Menara Gardens, the majestic Koutubia Minaret, and the exquisite Bahia Palace, a fine example of medieval Muslim architecture. We’ll have lunch at a halal restaurant and time for prayer. Our tour continues with a visit to the old Medina. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 – Marrakech to Rabat and Fez

Following breakfast and check-out, we transfer to Fez, stopping in Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Our visit includes the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. After prayer at a local mosque and a halal lunch, we continue to Fez. On arrival, we’ll visit the golden doors of the Royal Palace, the Bou Inania Medersa, and the Nejjarine Fountain. Dinner and hotel accommodation in Fez.

Day 4 – Fez to Chefchaouen and Tangier

Breakfast followed by a visit to the Karaouine Mosque, one of the main cultural centers of Islam and home to the University of Fez. We will explore the famous tanneries before transferring to Chefchaouen, known as the Blue City. We’ll enter through its historic gates, admire Arab-Andalusian architecture, and visit Outa el Hamam Square and the Ras El Maa spring. After lunch, we continue to Tangier for dinner and accommodation.

Day 5 – Tangier to Granada via Tarifa

After breakfast, we visit Cape Spartel, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. We then take a ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar to Tarifa, followed by lunch at a halal restaurant and a transfer to Granada. Upon arrival, we will visit Albaicin and the Grand Mosque of Granada. Dinner and hotel accommodation in Granada.

Day 6 – Granada to Cordoba and Seville

Breakfast followed by a visit to the Alhambra and Generalife. We then transfer to Cordoba, with lunch on the road. Upon arrival, we visit the Cordoba Mosque, Roman Bridge, and Calahorra Tower. Our journey continues to Seville for dinner and hotel accommodation.

Day 7 – Seville to Lisbon

After breakfast, we explore Seville’s Plaza de España, Parque María Luisa, Torre del Oro, La Giralda, and El Alcazar. We then transfer to Lisbon, with lunch on the road. Upon arrival, we visit the Monument to the Discoveries, Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, and Rossio Square. Dinner and hotel accommodation in Lisbon.

Day 8 – Lisbon to Toledo and Madrid

After breakfast, we transfer to Madrid, stopping in Toledo for lunch and a panoramic tour of the city. We then continue to Madrid for dinner at a halal restaurant and hotel accommodation.

Day 9 – Exploring Madrid

After breakfast, we start our guided tour of Madrid, including the Bull Ring, Royal Palace, Plaza de España, Neptune Fountain, Cibeles Fountain, and Plaza del Sol. We will pray at the Islamic Centre of Madrid and have lunch at a halal restaurant. The day ends with shopping at Las Rozas Village, followed by dinner at a halal restaurant and an overnight stay in Madrid.

Day 10 – Departure from Madrid

After breakfast, our guide will take the group for a photo stop at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium before transferring to the airport for departure.
